Don’t let the small size of the “Lil Speck” fool you. This call has been designed to reproduce all of the tones in
the Bar Bellies vocabulary. You can reach out and touch the long distance birds and quiet it down to finish the
birds off. All of this can be done with a lot less air than the “traditional spec calls”; and this was done by NOT SHAVING the reed. Shaving the reed shortens the life of the reed, and as we believe, causes the tone to be distorted. This call can be tuned either high or low with little effort.
